Invite everyone to your engagement party and secretly get married in the mean time with just your closest family. Let the cat out of the bag at the engagement party a few weeks later! You’ll need to swear everyone to secrecy, but you’ll get two wears out of your outfits and the fun of a big reveal. A sunny week day at the Bridgewater Hotel was a brilliant setting for a simple ceremony, family photos and some easy portraits by the river before everyone tucked into a pub lunch together. It couldn’t have been more relaxed. We left with big smiles on our faces (as we nearly always do!), and a flat tyre that was promptly and gratefully resolved by the RACV man!
